So I have been away from my blogging for quite some time.I guess life just got in the way.Here we are in November,i can't believe 47 days to Christmas.Really??....Summer went by so fast.Let me catch up a little.After harvesting all I could from my garden,it is now a sad little plot.But we have a nice compost pile and will work that in to the ground soon to get ready for spring.This year I learned a lot about spacing plants.Also found out what will grow and what is not doing to well in that spot.So I should have a nice garden next year.I did get lucky when tomato season came to an end,i went to a little roadside stand and bought 2 big cases of big beautiful red tomatos and one case of roma tomatoes all for $10 ....yes $10....,We now have ,salsa,spagetty sauce and canned tomatoes to last through the "winter".Also froze a lot and tried to dry some,but they don't look so good.I use the frozen ones for soups,chilli and so on.Well this will do it for today.I will be back tomorrow with more updates.
